Welcome to the Chapel of St Andrew the Apostle of Ukraine! Located on the middle floor - west side of the building, this chapel has served residents of Sheptytsky Institute from the very early years.

Divine Liturgies of the Eastern Rite Byzantine tradition, are celebrated here throughout the academic year. Services provide an opportunity for students and other faithful to fulfill their Sunday obligation. The decorative style and festal icons, including an original icon behind the altar written by T. Baran, and two others written by T.Zinkowski, can be an educational experience. Visitors are always welcome to participate and worship with us.

To offer intentions, please send the necessary information by mail or e-mail (sheps@sheps.ca). Please supply the following: Name of the person(s) for whom the Liturgy will be offered; Intentions; Offered by; and any other comments you wish to include.

Donations towards the Chapel are always appreciated.

Activities listed in this calendar reflect pastoral events arranged for residents of Sheptytsky Institute. Also included may be events specific to Campus Ministry (Marked with an *), the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon and Eparchial Youth.

Visitors can easily enter through the back Chapel door which is located at the top of the stairs behind the garage. Please note that unlimited parking is available on Elliot Street (south side of alley) all day on Sundays. All parking spots at Sheptytsky Institute are reserved 24 hours daily.

Divine Liturgies: • Sundays, 6:30 p.m., except where special time is noted       Beginning September 13       Cancelled: October 11       Last Sunday for this term: December 6   • No weekday services until further notice   Special Schedules and Intentions: • November 1 - Commemoration of the death of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky (+Nov 1/44) • November 14 (12:45pm) - Panakhyda for deceased rectors, board of directors and residents of Sheptytsky Institute (In conjunction with MSSS AGM) • November 29 -  Pankhyda for victims of the 1932/33 Famine Genocide in Ukraine. • December 6 - St. Andrew, the First-Called - Intentions for supporters and benefactors of Sheptytsky Institute (cancelled)
