April 15 - year end bar-b-que
Pysanky writing - painting eggs - Ukrainian style. Residents were given the opportunity to learn a new art, or refresh their skills just in time for Easter.
April fool(s). We certainly started asking a few questions about where the wing chairs from the study room disappeared early on that Thursday morning. (And, very glad that everything was put away before anybody really found out about the new lounge in the third floor hallway.)
And then, nothing is better than a friendly game out on the grass in the warm spring air.

January 18, 2004: The residence celebrated Epiphany. Celebrations began in the chapel with Divine Liturgy, followed by the great water blessing. Father Tataryn blessed the building, our special foods and all participants. Supper consisted of a traditional Ukrainian feast. Special singing guests were 'Joyful Noise Music Ministry'. More photos from the chapel service can be seen on the Divine Liturgy page. Thanks to Bob Baran for the holubtsi (cabbage rolls)!

January 6, 7, 8, 2004: Groups of residents participated in the tradition of Christmas carolling. Knowledge of the Ukrainian language was not a requirement! Many welcomed the groups into their home.
December 3, 2003: Residents were treated to a special Christmas turkey supper. Following the meal the party continued with games and door prizes. Gingerbread house construction closed off the evening.
October 29,2003: Pumpkin carving. And, the winner was the pumpkin on the far left.
September 19, 2003: E-plant
September 18, 2003: STM Welcome Hack golf tournament. The Sheps team, along with their caddies, won with the Texas scramble score of 29. Building manager Wayne, brought the "Wednesday Morning Trophy" to our side of College Drive!
September 4, 2003: Orientation supper.
