2007-2008 • 2nd term various
Throughout the year birthdays of our residents are acknowledged. Kelly would
usually organize some sort of treat for everyone to share, Jeff would distribute
birthday cards. In April, Kelly put together this special poster to include all
the summer birthdays too!
A steak BBQ was held on the last day of classes. Then, it was time to hit the books for the 2nd term finals, then move on with summer plans or full-time employment following convocation. Good luck grads!

Traditional
Ukrainian Caroling in January is always popular. This visit is at the home of
Dr. Michael and Marie Krochak.
January 2008 • Ukrainian Christmas celebrations
We observed the feast of Theophany with Solemn Water Blessing in the Chapel, followed by traditional Ukrainian Christmas eve supper. Our didukh, which represents our fore-fathers, graced our presence over this special time.
December • pre-Christmas party
The pre-Christmas celebration - just prior to the start of exams and Christmas break. Angie & Twyla prepared a special Christmas turkey dinner, there were little presents for everyone, games and treats. Gingerbread house decorating followed.

Captain Brendan Clancy and his wife Johanna gave an interesting perspective on balancing a military, university and married life. His presentation included some slides from his tour in Afghanistan.
