A 'friendly' game on the foosball table. It's only

a couple of years old, but, even after numerous

repair jobs and the 'lift don't drag' signage, it is

truly battle-worn. The tlc with the mending tape is sure to hold it together again - for a while anyway!

Friend of Sheps, Haley Wilcock (far left), gave a presentation on the Kinsmen & Kinettes. She is instrumental in organizing UofS students to form the 2nd national university K&K club.

been delivered and await installation!

Last term, two 'new' trophies were designed and awarded to honour table tennis champions. Perhaps this year, the kaiser trophy may once again be awarded!

John Michael and Garret (standing - on the right) extended an invitation to learn more about their STM Knights of Columbus College Council and to participate in the upcoming open house and membership appreciation night . Garret returned in January along with Council member Greg to further extend an invitation to attend the film "Bella" being shown that evening.

Ukrainian Christmas caroling

is always popular and visits are welcome by our Sheps friends. This photo is from a visit to St.

In February Matt Paslawsk of the U of S Ukrainian Students' Club (shown standing on the right side)  spoke on past and upcoming events.

Study time always brings the need for space to spread out notes and other materials. The study room, computer room, tv/games room - and, as shown here, the dining room - often become treasured spaces.

October Pumpkin carving!

December - pre-Christmas decorating. Before there can be a party, decorating is necessary. Myat gathered some 'elves' together to assist. (Photos Megan C.)

December 1 - pre-Christmas party

Yummy turkey dinner....presents...games...gingerbread designs. Thanks to Myat and friends for tree decorating and gift shopping.

SHMO (SHeps / MOhyla) Cup - Dodgeball evening. And, the winner is.... Sheps! The SHMO cup was designed specifically for these two residents to get together for friendly competitions. (Photos: Megan C.)

January 11, 2009 - Theophany water blessing and Ukrainian Christmas dinner.

January - Ancaster Ontario - 4 residents participated in a Catholic Student Leadership conference. Later, they shared their experiences with everyone back in residence.

April - Art competition. Residents were invited to display their artistic talents. Submissions included carving, drawing, woodwork and photography.

April - Year end BBQ and group photo. Georgina and Nicolle prepared a feast, Matt barbequed. Note that last picture - It always amazes how many people can fit around a table for 8...
